Sync function saying it is unsuccessful

Open the main menu of the app and tap "Log out" in the upper right. Try the Sync again and it will ask for your username and password. If your username and password are rejected, go to this page to reset your password.

Can you log into www.setlisthelper.com on your PC or Mac? If not, reset your password here.

  1. First, try opening the main menu of the app and tapping "Log out" in the upper right. Then try to log back in.
  2. Clear the cache for the app: How to clear app cache on Android.
  3. If that does not work, back up your device by following this video.

Reinstall the app and it should work. You can restore your data with Sync. If that does not work, use the backup.

How do you delete a song or setlist?

Open the main menu of the app and tap Sync. Go to www.setlisthelper.com on your PC or Mac. Delete the songs there, then open the app and sync again.

Or in the app, tap the circle next to the song or setlist and choose "Remove".

Data is not getting synced correctly to www.setlisthelper.com

Open the main menu of the app and tap "Log out" in the upper right. Try the Sync again and it will ask for your username and password.

If the above does not work:

  1. Back up your data using this video. Open the main menu of the app and sync your account as a form of backup.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the app.
  3. Sync your account.
  4. Make a change to see if the changes appear at www.setlisthelper.com.

How do you share PDF files with other devices?

The best way to do it is to put all your PDF files in a Dropbox folder.

  1. Open the app and tap Songs in the navigation menu.
  2. At the upper right of the Songs list, tap the menu button and choose "Import".
  3. Tap the Dropbox button in the upper right.
  4. Choose a Dropbox directory that contains your PDF files.
  5. Tap the save button at the bottom of the file browser.

This will import your PDF files and create the songs. It will remap the path to the PDF without duplicating the song if there is already a song with the PDF filename attached.

Share the folder with your other user and have them follow the "Update Dropbox Files" steps below:

  1. Open the navigation menu of the app and tap Songs.
  2. At the upper right of the Songs list, tap the menu button and choose "Update Dropbox Files".

This feature will look at all the Dropbox files that are attached to songs. It will download the files if they are not there, or update files that need to be updated.
